ASHWAGANDHA - In traditional Indian Ayurvedic Medicine, Ashwagandha is described as the ‘Indian Ginseng’. The word Ashwagandha translates to ‘sweaty horse’ due to its smell and taste, but don’t let this put you off, as the benefits of this wonderful herb override this property a million to one. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb, which can help to improve energy and athletic ability; giving you the stamina of a horse, boost the immune system, regulate the body’s ability to withstand stress, improve memory, slow the aging process and increase sexual capacity. HIBISCUS - Hibiscus is thought to have been the drink of choice by the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. It is extremely high in vitamin C, packed with antioxidants and offers antimicrobial properties. LINDEN FLOWER - The beautiful yellow flowers of the linden tree have been used as a gentle sedative to calm anxiety and insomnia. It was used in the medieval time as a natural relaxant drink. It can also help ease the symptoms of colds and flu's. 

 MOTHERWORT - Motherwort is the mother of calming energy. It spreads joy through whoever ingests it and brings happiness into your heart. It relaxes the nervous system and leaves a wonderful, elevated mood in its wake.

ST JOHNS WORT - St Johns Wort is a powerful restorative tonic that acts as an antidepressant for the mind and body. It has been used since the Middle Ages to combat anxiety and stress and to lift ones spirit, while also being used to heal skin wounds and the like. To aid to the fun, it has a rich history in magical rituals, used as a charm to ward off evil spirits.





BLACK PEPPER - Black Pepper is added to most meals because of its great taste, but did you know that black pepper is aiding your digestion by stimulating digestive juices and enzymes, as well as supporting circulation and reducing inflammation? All thanks to a little enzyme called piperine. Go pepper!

CLOVE - Cloves contain the highest quantity of antioxidants of any spice. They are also antiseptic and are a mild anaesthetic, which makes them perfect to chew if you have a toothache. Cloves also contain a compound called eugenol, which aids in the digestion of food. They can also assist with digestive problems such as indigestion, nausea, gas and constipation so are a perfect choice for a digestive aid.
